About BUtiful

What BUtiful wants to achieve is to be a space where new interesting ideas can be expressed through short films. We believe that an art form like this most be constantly explored and challenged by the new young filmmakers. Our believe is in the approaches founded in an important purpose, created in collaboration with fresh minds is needed to create a natural development.

We are interested in ambitious, important and jaw dropping films, where the form is not an empty shell... films which are meant not to be forgotten. That is the experience we want to give our audience and that is the talent and mentality that we want to foster.

As Bournemouth University is one of the most acknowledged media universities in the UK, with well established relationships to the industries, BUtiful aims to become a similarly known for both high quality content, and as a melting pot for visionary visual storytellers.

BUtiful is run entirely by volunteers from BU that believes in bringing in the impact that films can have.
